Yarrow Play started as a group chat between three friends who kept sending each other screenshots of whatever game had eaten their weekend. At some point we figured we might as well write it all down properly, so here we are.

We review mobile games — mostly RPGs and adventures, but we happily wander into strategy, racing and quiet little simulators too. The rule is simple: nobody writes about a game they haven't played long enough to have an honest opinion.

We pick titles a mix of ways. Some are the big names everyone's talking about, some are things we stumbled on and couldn't put down, and some come from reader suggestions. We don't chase trends for the sake of it — if a game bores us by hour two, we say so.

The goal isn't to sell anything. It's to help you decide whether a game is worth the space on your phone and the hours of your life. That's it.
