Whisperwood Trail is the quiet gem of this list. It's an adventure game in the classic sense — you explore, you solve, you piece together a story from scattered clues. The hand-drawn art is stunning and the ambient sound pulls you right into the forest.

Puzzles are woven into the world rather than dropped in front of you, which makes solving them feel like real progress. There's a gentle melancholy to the whole thing that stayed with me after I finished.

It's short — maybe five or six hours — but I wouldn't add a single one. It says what it wants to say and then lets you go.
